I am a true believer that having the right workspace can really benefit to your productivity and creativity. Especially when your company/employer takes the time to design their space to allow their employees with sofas, moodboard walls, 5à7 and even a terrasse. We are pretty happy to share an inside look at the new Squarespace HQ.
Located in the is in the historic building formerly known as the Maltz Building, which was constructed in 1926. This new space honors Squarespace’s clean and minimalistic aesthetic. As I quote:”Now, decades later, we're now proudly carrying the torch with our goal of allowing more people to express their ideas freely on the web.”. Give it a look, it’s quite beautiful and can’t stop appreciating the atmosphere.
While most tech companies have attempted to combine their workplaces with adult playgrounds, we took a slightly different approach. Our goal was to create an environment in which creativity, comfort, and collegiality could coexist. Moreover, as a company known for its dedication to design, we wanted to ensure that our new office reflected our identity. We’ve transformed our lobby – once an old loading bay – into an entryway that celebrates the work of some of today’s most talented artists. One of the artists represented in our space is Emil Lukas, a Squarespace customer.
