I’ve always been impressed about the level of details when a designer/artist work on symmetrical art and especially with animal faces. It’s not a new concept but it’s really interesting to witness every single perspective based on their background, inspiration and what drives them to go forward with this series.
We are taking a closer look of the work of Rich Field also known as Fieldinspired. He’s an illustrator based in London, UK; you should definitely check out his shop where you’ll find limited prints of his art to buy. In Rich’s process, you’ll find a hand-drawn start with a finishing touch digitally that can go with a minimum of 80 layers to 220+ layers on certain pieces. Totally worth checking it out!
I’ve always been fascinated with the beauty of the world around me. From the perfect gradient sunsets form, to the complex symmetry on a seemingly simple leaf. The way nature creates beautiful design so effortlessly has always filled me with wonder.
